I was looking through the Spring/Summer 2010 catwalks when I stopped to stare at Alexander McQueen terrifying shoes. These shoes are not only intimidating but they are also dangerously looking like an alien that might try to eat your feet off! Several models refused to wear the alien shoes because they were scared not to be able to walk with them because they could cause serious injuries. If you look carefully on the video of the catwalk you can see the worried models looking desperate to take the horrible shoes off. Look how thin is the Heel! Ouch!
. I know it's art and a way to express yourself but forcing young models to were THOSE shoes does not help for people to call you a designer and less an artist! Not only Alexander McQueen was previously accused of promoting gore and misogynistic designs but now I know it is kind of true!
The dresses are still B-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l. with all those inspiring colors and wild prints that makes the model look like insects.
However, I am glad to say that no one was hurt during this catwalk, not even model Abbey Lee Kershaw! That's a relief!
